Inner Truth, Outer Consequences
Acts 5:7-8 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The scene shows Sapphira's wife entering after a deceitful act and confirming the sale price when Peter questions it. It frames the moment as a test of inner truth under outward appearances.
Neville's Inner Vision
Acts 5:7-8 becomes a mirror of the inner seller and buyer within you. The space of time between event and confession is not chronology but the rhythm of your own soul as it shifts toward truth. Peter’s question, 'Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much?' is the interior interrogation we must all endure: What are you really valuing in this moment—the appearance of wealth or the reality of wholeness? The wife’s reply, 'Yea, for so much,' outwardly confirms a price she is willing to pay to maintain a fiction. But in Neville’s terms, the outer scene reveals a state of consciousness. Your I AM is aware of every motive, and every act of concealment calls forth a natural consequence that teaches you to walk in integrity. To awaken is to change the inner state, not the external tally. So, align now with truth; declare that your wealth is honesty, your profit is insight, and your security is the constant presence of God within.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Assume you are already living in the truth you seek. Revise any hidden motive by declaring, 'I am honest in every transaction; abundance follows from truth,' and feel the realization now.
