Honest Giving, Inner Provision

Acts 5:1-2 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Acts 5 in context

Scripture Focus

1But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession,
2And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet.
Acts 5:1-2

Biblical Context

Ananias and Sapphira outwardly present a gift while secretly withholding part of the price; the text reveals a rift between outward conviction and inner belief. The scene invites us to examine the alignment of our inner state with our giving.

Neville's Inner Vision

To the reader, the Ananias tale is not a history lesson but a map of consciousness. The man and his wife are a state that pretends to be generous by outwardly giving while the inner energy remains locked in fear of lack and need. The act of laying a portion at the apostles' feet mirrors the desire to place one's awareness at the feet of a higher authority, yet the withheld portion betrays a split between what is said and what is believed. Neville's law says you live the inner state you accept as true. So, when the inner conviction is 'I am not provided for,' any outward generosity is merely a masque. The remedy is to refuse to split your energy: you must identify with the I AM as the sole source, and treat every act of giving as the natural expression of abundance already present. When you revise the inner claim to 'I am abundantly supplied; I give from my fullness,' your external world rearranges itself to reflect the healed inner conviction. The deception ends the moment inner truth is aligned with outer action.

Practice This Now

Assume the state: 'I AM the source of all provision; I give freely now.' Then imagine laying the entire price at the feet of your inner apostle—the I AM within—and feel the release of integrity accompanying true abundance.
