Biblical Context
Acts 3:22 speaks of a prophet Moses foretold by God, one you should hear in all things.
Neville's Inner Vision
Acts 3:22 points not to an outward distant event but to the inner order of your being. Moses prophesied that God would raise up a prophet from among your brethren—one who speaks with the authority of your I AM. The 'like unto me' is a likeness in power and fidelity: a sustaining inner lawgiver that can be heard in every thought, feeling, and decision. To hear him 'in all things' means you listen with the complete attention of consciousness and obey the inner word rather than the outer scene. Neville would have you understand that this inner prophet is your own state of realization—once you entertain and assume that the inner voice has already spoken, it becomes the directing cause of every circumstance. When doubt arises, revisit the assumption: 'The inner prophet guides me now.' Feel the reality of that guidance, let it settle into your bones, and act from it. As you persist, your external world begins to conform to the decree of your inner Moses, proving that hearing and obeying the inner teacher is the creative act.
Practice This Now
Practice: in stillness, assume the inner teacher has spoken: 'I hear the prophet within me and obey now.' Then carry out one decision today that flows from that inner directive, writing down the felt result.
