Inner Miracle, Outer Marvels

Acts 3:12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Acts 3 in context

Scripture Focus

12And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?
Acts 3:12

Biblical Context

Peter redirects the crowd, showing the healing is not a display of human power or holiness. The true miracle arises from an inner state of awareness, not from external demonstration.

Neville's Inner Vision

Observe that the crowd marvels at a moment when the body is healed, yet Peter speaks to their habit of worshiping the spectacle. The 'you' are hearing with the ears of separation; the 'power' you accord to the apostles is simply your own projection of an external authority. In truth the healing is the awakening of your own I AM, the acknowledged presence you call God within. If you insist that a man walked by their power, you deny the living reality that you and I am the source of every movement. Therefore the feat is not done by some other, but by your inner state, by the alignment of imagination with the I AM. The question changes from 'Who healed him?' to 'Who believes the healer is separate from the healing?' When you realize that power is not personal, you are free from pride and from fear; humility is simply the steady grasp of your oneness with the divine I AM. Move from marvel to recognition: you are the one imagining, affirming, and thus birthing the walk.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the I AM as your constant presence. Visualize the healing already real, feel it, and act from that steady consciousness.
