Healing Through Inner Authority
Acts 3:11-14 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Acts 3 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Peter tells the awe-struck crowd that the healing of the lame man was not due to their power or holiness, but God glorifying Jesus; they had denied the Holy One and chosen a murderer instead.
Neville's Inner Vision
Beloved, the healing in Acts 3:11–14 is a figure of your inner life. The lame man is the fixed habit of limitation that you have believed necessary to bear. When the people press in, it seems power comes from without; yet Peter, the I AM within, declares that no healing rests in human power or holiness. God—the I AM within you—glorified His Son Jesus as your realized state. You, too, have denied the Holy One and the Just by clinging to yesterday’s scripts and choosing a murderer (an old self) over a new being. The moment you stop adoring the appearance of condition and acknowledge your inner authority, healing arises. The objections, the crowd, the sense of lack—all dissolve as you awaken to the truth that you are the one who speaks, the one who heals, the one who loves unconditionally. Embrace the inner I AM, and let your life become the demonstration of your realized state.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the state I AM the Holy One within. For five minutes, feel this I AM presence as you recall a current limitation; notice it melt as you repeat the phrase and imagine the healed man walking in your life.
