Neville's Inner Vision
Acts 28:30-31 invites us to see the apostle not as a traveler of places but as a state of consciousness made tangible. Paul dwelt two years in his own hired house—his chosen center where imagination is sovereign. He received all who came to him, for every encounter is a signal to enlarge the kingdom within. He preached the kingdom of God and taught those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ with confidence, because he knows the I AM he stands in is unlimited. No man forbidding him reveals that external resistance is but a projection of inner doubt until you decide otherwise. Your inner Paul declares, 'I am the king in my own house; I permit every impression to come, and I frame it with the reality of Christ within.' The outer world conforms to the inner state; the more you dwell, the more you teach and preach by feeling it real. The practical discipline is to occupy your mind with the assumption that you already live in the kingdom, and let that conviction illuminate every action.
Practice This Now
Sit quietly, close your eyes, and declare: I AM the dwelling place of God; invite every impression, and frame it with the reality of Christ within. Then walk through your day with that assumed state.
