Biblical Context
Paul gathers the chief of the Jews and states that he has done nothing against the people or customs, yet he is delivered prisoner from Jerusalem to Rome; those who examined him found no cause of death.
Neville's Inner Vision
Picture the scene as your inner state made visible. The I AM stands before the outer Rome of circumstance and proclaims, I have committed nothing against the people or their customs, so this imprisonment is a signal of your choosing a higher self. The chief of the Jews are your habitual beliefs testing you, yet the inner consciousness remains calm because there is no real crime in past perception. When the examiner would have let me go for there was no cause of death, you realize that death is only a belief of limitation, not a fact in your being. You acquit yourself now by affirming innocence in present consciousness, and the outer world will reflect the revise-state. The inner law is your authority; judgment belongs to the I AM. With this inner verdict, the prison dissolves and freedom enters your life, as surely as dawn follows night.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit quietly, breathe deeply, and assume the stance of the inner Paul before the elders. Repeat in present tense, 'There is no charge against me; I am innocent before all judgment,' and feel the release as your outer world begins to reflect this inner verdict.
