Acts 28:11-12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Acts 28 in context

Scripture Focus

11And after three months we departed in a ship of Alexandria, which had wintered in the isle, whose sign was Castor and Pollux.
12And landing at Syracuse, we tarried there three days.
Acts 28:11-12

Biblical Context

Three months pass, then the voyage continues from a ship that had wintered there, and Syracuse is reached where they stay for three days.

Neville's Inner Vision

Your life is the movement of consciousness. The ship of Alexandria is your current state of mind carrying you through a winter of old habit. Castor and Pollux on the ship symbolize the twin faculties you'll rely on: disciplined will and trusting imagination. Their sign is a reminder that God’s guidance is felt as inner awareness. When you arrive at Syracuse, you are not simply moving through space but shifting into a new inner condition of rest and readiness. The pauses—three months, three days—hint at inner revisions where you assimilate the new awareness. Providence is your I AM, silently directing the flow of your experiences as you assume a state and dwell in the feeling of its truth. The outer journey will reflect the inner turn; choose the consciousness you desire, and the world follows with faith and steadfastness.

Practice This Now

Assume you are already in the state you desire; feel the assurance now, and anchor that impression by quietly repeating 'I am' as you dwell in the sense of arrival for a minute.
