Read Acts 27 in context

Scripture Focus

25Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.
26Howbeit we must be cast upon a certain island.
Acts 27:25-26

Biblical Context

Paul speaks with cheer, declaring his belief that the divine word will come to pass exactly as told him, even as the voyage is driven toward a specific island. The inner message is that faith sustains the traveler while the outer scene unfolds.

Neville's Inner Vision

All characters are states of consciousness; the ship is your mind in agitation, the storm your fear. Be of good cheer is the rising faith, the quiet recognition of the I AM. When Paul says, I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me, he embodies the principle that the promise is already fulfilled in consciousness and is now affirmed. The island to be cast upon represents a fixed inner anchor—the unshaken awareness where the outward scene coalesces with the inner decree. The voyage continues, yet the inner claim remains intact; prophecy is a memory of a decree fulfilled within you, not a distant event. Practice: imagine the current condition as already resolved in your inner self, and declare, I believe God, until that certainty saturates your being and the island of peace appears within your awareness.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, repeat 'I believe God, it is so' until the inner certainty floods you; visualize yourself on the inner island, calm and assured as your present reality.
