Acts 24:21 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Acts 24 in context

Scripture Focus

21Except it be for this one voice, that I cried standing among them, Touching the resurrection of the dead I am called in question by you this day.
Acts 24:21

Biblical Context

Paul declares that his sole issue is the resurrection of the dead, and he is challenged by those around him this day. He asserts his conviction from an inner voice that stands separate from the crowd.

Neville's Inner Vision

See the scene as inside you. The 'one voice' is the I AM in you—the unwavering inner witness that life is forever and that death is but a misperception. The crowd represents the old conditioning—the doubts, fears, and stories that say you cannot rise. When you hear that 'resurrection of the dead,' you are not debating with others; you are affirming a new state of consciousness to settle in your being. The resurrection is the birth of a new awareness, waking to a life that is not bound by what was but alive now in a fresh form. Your work is to stand firm in that inner truth and let the external argument fall away. You are the tomb and the stone; by using imagination you roll away that stone and discover you already bear the risen life within.

Practice This Now

Assume a new state right now: close your eyes, declare 'I am the resurrection and the life now,' and feel it real in your chest. Stay with that sensation for a few minutes, imagining the past as buried and your inner I AM awakening.
