Biblical Context
During the encounter, the governor reads the letter and asks Paul's province, learning he comes from Cilicia.
Neville's Inner Vision
Think of the scene not as a mundane law report but as a mirror held up to the mind. The governor who reads the letter is your I AM, the awareness that surveys the life script. The question, 'Of what province are you?' is a probe into your inner origin. When he learns Cilicia, you are reminded that outward labels arise from interior states you have already accepted. The verse becomes a map: your home is the inner province you actually inhabit. You may feel pulled to identify with a lineage, role, or circumstance; yet Neville’s method teaches that you can revise that identification by assuming a different origin in imagination. Decide now that you come from a province you choose—whether it be wholeness, peace, or power—and rest in that recognition. Providence is simply the alignment of your inner state with your experiences as you persist in the assumption until it feels natural.
Practice This Now
Imagine the governor reading your life-script and asking your origin. Answer inwardly, 'I am from the province of Wholeness,' and feel the certainty as if you already dwell there.
