The Inner Compass

Acts 21:4-6 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Acts 21 in context

Scripture Focus

4And finding disciples, we tarried there seven days: who said to Paul through the Spirit, that he should not go up to Jerusalem.
5And when we had accomplished those days, we departed and went our way; and they all brought us on our way, with wives and children, till we were out of the city: and we kneeled down on the shore, and prayed.
6And when we had taken our leave one of another, we took ship; and they returned home again.
Acts 21:4-6

Biblical Context

Paul and his companions linger seven days as the Spirit speaks through the disciples, warning him not to go to Jerusalem. They pray together on the shore, then depart.

Neville's Inner Vision

Acts 21:4-6 invites you to hear the inner Spirit as the I AM within. Paul’s companions speak what they hear through the Spirit: a warning to refrain from Jerusalem, then they tarry, pray, and part with love. See this as your own inner negotiation: the outer plan may be redirected when your inner awareness senses a higher alignment. The seven days of tarrying symbolize an inner calibration, a pause in motion while your state of consciousness is tuned. The shore prayer is the moment you align your mind with the end you seek and trust that it exists now in imagination. The farewell is the release of attachments as you choose the path that serves your higher image. In Neville’s method, the next move is already formed in imagination; feel the end completed, assume the lead of the I AM, and act from that assumption. The Spirit does not deny purpose; it redirects it toward your true goal. Depart in peace, knowing you are guided by the I AM within.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: In quiet, assume the desired end is already true; breathe, feel the I AM guiding your next move, and revise any doubts until they fade.
