Acts 21:26-29 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Acts 21 in context

Scripture Focus

26Then Paul took the men, and the next day purifying himself with them entered into the temple, to signify the accomplishment of the days of purification, until that an offering should be offered for every one of them.
27And when the seven days were almost ended, the Jews which were of Asia, when they saw him in the temple, stirred up all the people, and laid hands on him,
28Crying out, Men of Israel, help: This is the man, that teacheth all men every where against the people, and the law, and this place: and further brought Greeks also into the temple, and hath polluted this holy place.
29(For they had seen before with him in the city Trophimus an Ephesian, whom they supposed that Paul had brought into the temple.)
Acts 21:26-29

Biblical Context

Paul goes through purification with others, signaling the end of the purification days. Soon the crowd accuses him of breaking the law and polluting the temple.

Neville's Inner Vision

Paul's act is not a literal contest of temple walls but a picture of the soul cleansing itself. In this moment, purification is an inner alignment, a decision that the 'I AM' within you is spotless and holy. The seven days symbolize cycles of attention, each offering a return to sacred stillness. The uproar of the Asia Jews is your own restless thoughts labeling you, projecting guilt onto the outer scene. They see a man who teaches 'against' this or that, yet the true teaching is only the recognition of your own inner law and temple. By entering the temple with others, Paul demonstrates communion with a purified state available to you now. The temple is not a building but your consciousness, and purity is not a ritual to perform but a realization to hold. When you refuse to be defined by alien accusations, you let the inner vision govern perception, and the outward scene conforms.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, and assume the state: I am pure, I am the temple of God. Then feel the truth of that state until it permeates every thought and moment.
