Biblical Context

The travelers arrive in Jerusalem with companions, including Mnason. The brethren welcome them with gladness.

Neville's Inner Vision

You are not crossing a city line but crossing the threshold of your own consciousness into the inner Jerusalem. The carriages you carry are the thoughts you have prepared, and Mnason—the old disciple—speaks as memory and wisdom you have trusted. When you sense the brethren's glad reception, recognize it as a reflection of your I AM-awakened state—the inner circle that greets you when you claim fullness already dwelling within. The warmth you feel is not contingent on outward events but a vivid alignment of your belief with the truth that you are always known, welcomed, and provided for by God, by the I AM. Thus the end of the journey is the realization that you have always arrived; every step was to awaken you to your home in unity and love. The outer scene mirrors your inner life, and the chapter's hospitality is a practice: to dwell in the assurance that your soul's community waits where you truly are.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Close your eyes, step into your inner Jerusalem, and assume you are already welcomed by your soul’s community. Feel the warmth as real now.
