Acts 17:5-6

Biblical Context

In Acts 17:5-6, a mob stirred by envy disrupts the city, attacking Jason's house and dragging witnesses before rulers. The cry claims these who turned the world upside down have come here.

Neville's Inner Vision

Beloved, within you the 'Jews' of unbelief are the stale states of consciousness clinging to an old story. When a new vision steps forth, envy may stir your mind to mobilize an uproar, dragging witnesses to the petty courts of opinion. The 'house of Jason' is your former sense of security; when the living idea contradicts them, you feel the pressure of the crowd of your old beliefs pressing toward the rulers of your self-doubt. But the secret of the gospel is this: the ones who turned the world upside down have come here too—your I AM, your higher self, overturning the old order. The inner kingdom is already on the move, quietly reordering what you accept as reality. Your work is to bless this turning as accomplished in consciousness, and to persist in feeling the truth of it until the outer world mirrors the new arrangement.

Practice This Now

Assume in your heart that the new idea has already settled; feel the I AM rearranging your life and turn the old order right-side up. Let this revision sink in and stay with the feeling until your outer experience follows.
