Biblical Context
God fixed a day to judge the world in righteousness by the man He ordained. He has given all people assurance by raising him from the dead.
Neville's Inner Vision
All the verse is telling you is that a day of decisive truth is set within your own consciousness. The 'world' you measure by is the theater of your thoughts and feelings, and the judge that will prevail is the I AM that you are conscious of. 'That man' ordained by God is the inner Christ, the living principle that interprets life with perfect justice. When you awaken to his risen state—your awareness that you are more than your old beliefs—your inner court reveals the verdict: the old forms of fear and limitation are passing away because the man of righteousness has been raised in you. The resurrection is not a distant event but a psychological shift: you cease identifying with lack and mortality and align with the reality that God has already declared you free and upright. Therefore the moment you entertain the idea, you become the judge who speaks truth to your own experience, and your world has to reflect that verdict.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit quietly, assume the I AM is judging you now, and feel the inner Christ rising. Declare inwardly that you are raised from old limitations and live from the certainty of righteousness.
