Within Godhead Beyond Idols

Acts 17:29 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Acts 17 in context

Scripture Focus

29Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.
Acts 17:29

Biblical Context

God is not a statue; we are children of God. The verse invites us to stop equating the Divine with material forms and to awaken to the Godhead within.

Neville's Inner Vision

Remember you are the offspring of God, not a statue in a hall. The gold, silver, and stone are only signs of a mindset that has forgotten its source. The Godhead is not something carved by human hands; it is the living I AM that dwells as your consciousness. When you look to idols for power, you project your inner state outward and call it reality. Change the projection by revising your sense of self. Assume the truth that you are the image of divine life, and let that awareness saturate every thought, feeling, and perception. Your imagination is not a trick to bring things into being; it is the very fabric of being. If you dwell in the inner Godhead, the outer world will adjust to reflect that truth. Idolatry dissolves when you recognize that you are God’s offspring and that God is expression of I AM within. Thus, you worship in spirit and in truth, not by external forms, but by the living presence within.

Practice This Now

Sit quietly and declare I AM the Godhead within; I accept this truth now. Keep the feeling by imagining the I AM shining through every form you meet today, and revise any sense of separation until it feels real.
