Scripture Focus

24God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
25Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;
Acts 17:24-25

Biblical Context

God, the Creator of the world, is Lord of heaven and earth and does not dwell in temples made by hands; He gives life, breath, and all things.

Neville's Inner Vision

Act 17:24-25 invites us to relocate worship from outward structures to the inner kingdom. God, the Maker of heaven and earth, is present as the steady I AM within, and He does not live in stone or carved altars. The true temple is consciousness itself—the awareness that dwells as life and breath. When I claim that God animates my being, I stop assigning divinity to forms outside me and recognize that the real Presence moves through my thoughts, feelings, and choices. In this light, Providence becomes a gentle ordering of my inner state rather than a decree from a distant shrine. By assuming the feeling of life as an expression of my inner I AM, I align with the creative order that brings events into appearance. Worship becomes a continuous in-here, out-there experience: loving, grateful, and confident, because I know I am aligned with the one Source within me.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, place a hand on your chest, and say, 'God dwells in me; I am the temple of the living I AM.' Revise the belief that any building holds power and feel the inner Presence guiding your life now.
