Scripture Focus

4And as they went through the cities, they delivered them the decrees for to keep, that were ordained of the apostles and elders which were at Jerusalem.
5And so were the churches established in the faith, and increased in number daily.
Acts 16:4-5

Biblical Context

Paul and his companions carried decrees to keep, issued by the Jerusalem leadership. The churches were formed in the faith and grew daily.

Neville's Inner Vision

Acts 16:4-5 invites you to hear the inner order beneath outward travel. The decrees to keep are not laws pressed on others, but inner commands you grant as true by the I AM within. The apostles and elders symbolize the authoritative voices you acknowledge inside your own mind; when you consent to their decrees, you establish a disciplined state of consciousness. In that moment, your inner churches are established in faith, and, as you persist, they multiply. The growth is not achieved by proving something to the world, but by aligning your entire being with the decree until it exists as your present reality. Each revision of your belief, each feeling of certainty, is a building block that enlarges your inner congregation. Your outward life mirrors this inward settlement: results appear, relationships harmonize, opportunities increase, as the inner church expands day by day. The key is to treat the decree as already true in your I AM, and to carry the feeling of its fulfillment until it becomes what you live.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Select a decree and affirm it as already true in the present. Feel it real in your chest for several minutes, revising any doubt until your inner church expands and grows daily.
