Read Acts 16 in context

Scripture Focus

11Therefore loosing from Troas, we came with a straight course to Samothracia, and the next day to Neapolis;
12And from thence to Philippi, which is the chief city of that part of Macedonia, and a colony: and we were in that city abiding certain days.
Acts 16:11-12

Biblical Context

They travel from Troas to Samothracia, then Neapolis, and finally Philippi, a chief city of Macedonia, where they remain for several days.

Neville's Inner Vision

Your consciousness looses from Troas when you release an old self; a straight course to Samothracia and Neapolis mirrors a clear, uninterrupted movement of imagination toward a new inner state. Philippi, the chief city of that region, stands as an inner metropolis where the new state takes root—a colony planted by the I AM. To abide there for days is to allow this state to settle into your feelings and habits. The ‘we’ that journeys becomes your inner witness: the I AM now resides in this inner city, and your outer world will begin to reflect that reality as you dwell in it. Remember, imagination creates reality; when you plant Philippi in consciousness, your life aligns with that image and gradually acquires its energy of peace, unity, and purpose.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Close your eyes, release the old Troas-state, and assume, 'I am now in Philippi.' Feel the city’s energy as your own real condition and maintain that feeling for a minute.
