Biblical Context
God knows the hearts and bears witness by giving the Holy Spirit, showing no difference between us and them. Hearts are purified by faith.
Neville's Inner Vision
Think of Acts 15:8-9 as the inner law of your own consciousness. God, who knows the hearts, bears witness within you by assigning the Holy Spirit to every state of mind, as He did to the earliest believers. The 'them' and 'us' are not separate peoples but distinct inner dispositions within you: doubt and trust, fear and faith, judgment and mercy. When you identify with the I AM that you are, you discover that there is no difference between you and any other, because the Spirit of God is the same life in all. Purification comes not from outer rules but from faith—your faith that the inner heart is already whole. The moment you believe in your intrinsic purity, the imagined barrier dissolves, and grace floods your inner temple. Your inner witness becomes your daily experience: you feel accepted, equal, and present with God. Practice is your revision of assumption: you are not seeking purity, you are living from the faith that already purifies. In that realization, all persons appear as manifestations of one Spirit, and unity becomes your lived reality.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, assume you are the heart-knower, and declare: 'God knows my heart; there is no difference between us and them; I am purified by faith.' Feel that truth as a vivid sensation in your chest, and let the sense of unity saturate your consciousness.
