Biblical Context
The passage states that God visited the Gentiles to form a people for His name; prophets agree, foretelling a time when all nations seek the Lord under one divine designation.
Neville's Inner Vision
Read as a psychology of consciousness, Simeon's report is a note about your inner life. God, the I AM within you, visits the Gentiles - your scattered states of mind - to birth a people for His name. The tabernacle of David is not a building outside you; it is the reclaimed inner kingdom, the memory of rightful dominion that rises when you stop arguing with lack and begin feeling your essential unity. The promise that the residue of men might seek after the Lord points to the tendency of your awareness to turn toward the Source when you revise your self-image. All Gentiles, the many beliefs and habits, are simply parts of your mind being gathered beneath the one Name you carry. Known unto God are all His works from the beginning of the world, and in you that means your life unfolds as you remain present to the I AM. Your job is to align with this truth, feeling it as real and complete here and now.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Assume you are already the people for His name within your consciousness. Revise your self-image by silently declaring I am one with God, and feel that unity settling into every act.
