Inner Resurrection and Sonship

Acts 13:33-35 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Acts 13 in context

Scripture Focus

33God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.
34And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.
35Wherefore he saith also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
Acts 13:33-35

Biblical Context

God raised Jesus to confirm Him as God's Son, and the scriptures promise He would not see corruption. The resurrection signals the fulfillment of the sure mercies of David.

Neville's Inner Vision

Beloved, Acts 13:33-35 invites you to see that the Christ within has already been raised in your consciousness. The Father speaks as the I AM through the words, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee—an inner verdict that your selfhood is eternally renewed, untouched by time or decay. When you imagine the Holy One as incorruptible, you are not bargaining for a future event; you are waking to a state of awareness that cannot fade. The “sure mercies of David” become your inner rhythm of grace: constancy, mercy, and covenant faithfulness, inherent in your awareness and never withdrawn. The tomb represents old self-identity; the resurrection is your choice to inhabit risen consciousness here and now. Rest in that I AM, and let the belief in death drop away as you dwell in life.

Practice This Now

Assume you are the risen Son now. Close your eyes, breathe the I AM, and revise a memory to reflect incorruptible life here and now.
