Inner Salvation in Acts 13:26-31

Acts 13:26-31 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Acts 13 in context

Scripture Focus

26Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent.
27For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.
28And though they found no cause of death in him, yet desired they Pilate that he should be slain.
29And when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree, and laid him in a sepulchre.
30But God raised him from the dead:
31And he was seen many days of them which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses unto the people.
Acts 13:26-31

Biblical Context

The message of salvation is offered to those who fear God. Jesus was condemned by Jerusalem's rulers, crucified, and God raised him, witnessed by many.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within the telling, the 'they' who condemn Him are the voices of disbelief in your own mind. Jerusalem and its rulers become your habitual mental states that deny your true power. Yet 'God raised him from the dead' declares your consciousness's victory—the instant your awareness shifts from limitation to Life. The witnesses are the inner faculties—imagination, understanding, faith—that testify to your new state. Salvation is not external history but your present awareness of Christ as I AM. When you own this interior elevation, you fulfill the prophecy of renewal and experience resurrection as a state of consciousness here and now.

Practice This Now

Assume the feeling 'I AM the risen Christ now' and revise the scene in your mind until it feels true. Close your eyes, repeat the phrase, and allow every breath to echo this awakening.
