Scripture Focus

13And he shewed us how he had seen an angel in his house, which stood and said unto him, Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is Peter;
14Who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved.
Acts 11:13-14

Biblical Context

Acts 11:13–14 tells of an angel in Cornelius' house directing messengers to fetch Peter, so Peter can speak words that save him and his household.

Neville's Inner Vision

Let this scene be read as a practical allegory of your inner life. The angel appearing in the house is the awakening I AM, the consciousness that stands at the door of your thoughts and says, 'Move toward Peter.' The house is your current state of mind, and the command to send for Simon Peter is the invitation to call forth the living principle of truth from within. Peter represents the active word of truth—imagination speaking as you—that shall tell thee words by which you and your house are saved. When fear, resistance, or old habit seem to rule, the inner messenger nudges you to listen to the saving words that arise from imagination. Salvation, in this sense, is not a distant event but a natural result of aligning your inward state with the truth you hear. Obedience, therefore, means consent to the direction of your own awareness; trust that the words you receive are already within you, and let their vibrational reality soften the old walls of doubt.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and imagine the messenger delivering the saving directive. Revised in feeling, anchor the state of being saved and hear the inner words as your new reality.
