Read Acts 1 in context

Scripture Focus

18Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.
19And it was known unto all the dwellers at Jerusalem; insomuch as that field is called in their proper tongue, Aceldama, that is to say, The field of blood.
Acts 1:18-19

Biblical Context

Judas acquired a field with the reward of iniquity; he fell headlong and died, and the field became known as Aceldama, the Field of Blood.

Neville's Inner Vision

The field is not land but a state of mind. The reward of iniquity is the seed imagined when you seek gain apart from truth. The headlong fall and the bursting bowels symbolize the tearing open of an old self—fear, guilt, and greed verging into your life as consequence. Aceldama, the Field of Blood, marks the record of such inner choice. Yet the remedy lies in recognizing the I AM as the true owner of every field. When you identify with the I AM, you cease grasping for external wealth and align with inner abundance born of harmony with divine law. Revision of the scene invites a new outer condition; the field releases its old charge and becomes a garden of provision. By dwelling in the consciousness of completion and integrity, you cleanse the past and let generosity and truth fructify your life.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and revise: declare 'I AM the field of abundance, planted in truth,' and feel it real until the outer reflects a generous, law-aligned life.
