Neville's Inner Vision
All that is exterior is a reflection of an inner state. The 'one accord' is not a crowd outside, but a state of synchronized I AM within. The women and Mary and the brethren represent the feminine and masculine aspects within you in harmony. In the practice of prayer and supplication, they are the inner faculties focusing their attention on the divine idea. By assuming this unity, you align your subconscious with the idea you desire; the inner circle becomes a chorus of conviction, not a petition of lack. Imagine you are already in that circle, feeling gratitude and certainty that your request is known and answered. The act of 'supplication' is the careful attention given to the assurance of success, not pleading; it's a directing of your inner energy. As you dwell there, your inner events begin to move toward your external reality; your faith becomes action; you discover that unity births manifestation. So you can bring this 'assembly' into your own life by assuming the feeling of a united mind, inviting your inner Mary (wisdom) and your brethren (reason) to join in.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assemble your inner circle—women, Mary-wisdom, brethren-reason—in one calm circle. Then declare, 'I am one with you,' feel the I AM, and allow gratitude and certainty that your desire is already fulfilled.
