The passage witnesses thy charity before the church. It invites you to back those who travel proclaiming the Name, doing so in a godly spirit.
Neville's Inner Vision
To read 3 John 1:6-7 through the Neville lens is to see charity as an inner, not an external, deed. The church is your state of awareness; the travelers are the messengers of Truth within you. When you bring forward on their journey, you do so by assuming a godly disposition that provides for their needs—mentally, not physically. Bless and saturate their mission with the certainty that they are sustained by the I AM you awaken within. They went forth for the Name’s sake, taking nothing from the Gentiles—meaning the outer world is not the source of vitality, but your inner supply. If you maintain this state, the outward journey reflects your inner readiness: the more you honor and support the workers of Truth in your consciousness, the freer they become in expression, and the freer you become in your own life. Charity here is freedom, and witnessing it in your mind is the seed from which actual kindness broadcasts into your world.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit quietly and imagine a traveling truth-teller. See yourself supplying their needs from your inner storehouse and bless their journey with the certainty of divine abundance.
