Inner Joy of Walking Truth

3 John 1:4 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 3 John 1 in context

Scripture Focus

4I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
3 John 1:4

Biblical Context

The verse states that true joy comes from hearing one's spiritual children walk in truth.

Neville's Inner Vision

John's joy reveals the law: truth walked in your own heart becomes your outer life. In this light, 'my children' are the states of consciousness you nourish—beliefs, habits, and desires that appear as life when they walk in truth. Truth is not a distant fact to be proven; it is your I AM awareness, the living awareness in which all things are created. To hear that your children walk in truth is to experience, in your present feeling, that your inner world has become reliable and real. Therefore assume the feeling of truth as your constant condition. Close your eyes, breathe into the I AM that you are, and declare, 'I am walking in truth now.' Persist in that assumption until it feels natural and uncontradicted; then observe how your circumstances reflect your inner alignment. The joy spoken of by John is your own when your inner state and your outer life agree. Imagination is the power behind the scene, and feeling-it-real is your instrument for bringing truth to life.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, assume the state 'I am walking in truth now,' and feel the joy as an immediate, lived reality. Hold that feeling long enough for it to saturate your day.
