2 Timothy 3:14-15 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 2 Timothy 3 in context

Scripture Focus

14But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
15And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
2 Timothy 3:14-15

Biblical Context

Timothy is urged to persist in the truths he learned from a trustworthy source. These inner teachings lead to wisdom and salvation through faith in Christ.

Neville's Inner Vision

Your mind stands at the doorway of two状態s: the assurance you learned and the doubt that tempts you away. The apostle's counsel is not to depart from the teachings you have taken to heart, for they were learned under the providence of a teacher you already know—the I AM within. The childhood script you cherish is not a distant relic but a living inner record that makes you wise unto salvation through faith in Christ Jesus; faith is the steady belief in the reality of that inner state. Salvation, in this view, is the awakening to your true nature; faith is the consistent acknowledgment of that nature as present. By remaining in the state that learned these truths, you keep consciousness aligned with the solution rather than its absence. When doubt arises, recall the inner instructor and revise your sense of self to mirror that you are being guided and made wise by the inner word. Remember: imagination creates reality; your present conviction becomes your future experience of wholeness, healing, and Christ within.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Close your eyes and imagine sitting with your inner teacher; repeat a steady, silent affirmation of continuity: 'I continue in the truth I learned; the I AM within guides me toward salvation in Christ within.'
