Scripture Focus

5And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.
2 Timothy 2:5

Biblical Context

Mastery is possible, but true reward comes only when striving aligns with inner law. Without that harmony, outward effort cannot crown the self.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within the I AM, your inner state determines the world you chase. 'Striving for masteries' is a mental posture, a culmination of persistent imagination bent toward a definite end. Yet the crown is not awarded by effort alone; it rests on lawfulness—the alignment of your assumption with the inner principle that you ARE the ruler of your realm. To interpret this, imagine that all outward striving is only the echo of an inner conviction. When you persist in a feeling of the end, but also reverence the inner law that governs it, you do not violate any cosmic order; you cooperate with it. The phrase 'strive lawfully' thus becomes a reminder to keep your mind in harmony with the I AM, not to push against it. If you feel lack or impatience, revise the scene until your present belief mirrors the end you seek. In this sense, success is not fought for externally, but realized inwardly, and crowned in consciousness first, then in expression.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the end—the mastery you seek as already yours; feel the inner crown and the quiet certainty of lawful possession. Then revise any thought of lack, and repeat a present-tense affirmation, 'I AM crowned by lawful mastery,' until the feeling of it realigns your day.
