Biblical Context
2 Timothy 2:15 calls you to study and show yourself approved, a worker who handles truth with discernment so you are not ashamed.
Neville's Inner Vision
To me, Timothy’s exhortation speaks to your inner workshop, where you are the I AM shaping reality. The “word of truth” is not a distant scripture but the living idea in your consciousness; to rightly divide it is to discern what in you is aligned with truth from what is merely fear or habit. 'Approved unto God' means your prevailing state of awareness corresponds to your higher self, so you need not shrink from exposure—the inner editor approves what it has tested and found true. 'A workman' is your daily practice: you revise, you test, you feel the truth until it becomes second nature. When you stand in this light, the fear of shame dissolves, for you are not judging by outer appearances but by the fidelity of your inner state. The key is to assume the end: see yourself as the man God approves, and let imagination carry that certainty into present experience. With continued attention you will find discernment sharpening, your choices aligned, and every circumstance falling into place as the inner truth you chose becomes your outward form.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit in quiet awareness and assume you are already the approved workman; feel that certainty saturating your mind until it becomes your immediate sensation. Then revise a stray thought by declaring, I AM, and I approve of this truth now.
