Inner Power for Fearless Mind

2 Timothy 1:7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 2 Timothy 1 in context

Scripture Focus

7For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
2 Timothy 1:7

Biblical Context

Fear is not from God; we are given a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind.

Neville's Inner Vision

Fear is not an enemy the I AM must meet; fear is the mistaken state the mind has adopted. God’s gift to you is not fear but the very habits of power, love, and a sound mind, latent in the self-aware I AM. When you sense fear, you are narrating a separate self; when you remember that consciousness is whole, you awaken to the inner reality that you already possess these divine faculties. The verse invites you to live from the inner kingdom where power acts through confident choice, love heals by inclining toward others, and a sound mind orders attention with steadiness. This is not a future achievement but a present revision of your state of consciousness. Practice by assuming you are already the person who exhibits courage, compassion, and clear discernment, and allow the feeling of that state to saturate your senses. In that state, your thoughts, decisions, and actions align with the I AM you are.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and revise your inner weather: say, 'I am endowed with power, love, and a sound mind,' and feel that state as real now. Proceed from that feeling in your next choice.
