Glory Through Grace Within

2 Thessalonians 1:12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 2 Thessalonians 1 in context

Scripture Focus

12That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Thessalonians 1:12

Biblical Context

The verse expresses that the name of Jesus is to be glorified in believers and that they are united with him through the grace of God.

Neville's Inner Vision

In the I AM of your consciousness, the name of Jesus Christ is to be glorified within you and you are to dwell in him by grace. The 'name' represents the living presence of Christ in awareness. When you acknowledge that you are one with him, you invite grace to effect the inner alignment that makes separation vanish. Grace is not a distant favor but the active light of your awareness that unites thought and being. By assuming that you are already crowned with the name, by feeling the presence of Christ as your own, you set in motion an inner movement whose outer form mirrors that glory. Persist in this inner recognition until your thoughts, words, and deeds reflect the unity. The imagination becomes the instrument by which this inner truth manifests as daily reality, and your life begins to reflect the glorified state that already rests within you. You live from the truth that you are in him and he is in you, by grace, here and now.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the truth that the name of the Lord Jesus Christ is glorified in you, and you are glorified in him, by the grace of God. Hold that feeling until it is real in your chest and carry it into every moment of your day.
