Calling Worthy by Faith

2 Thessalonians 1:11 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 2 Thessalonians 1 in context

Scripture Focus

11Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:
2 Thessalonians 1:11

Biblical Context

Paul asks that you be counted worthy of your calling and that God’s goodness empower the work of faith within you.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within your heart’s chamber, the I AM, your awareness, responds to such a petition by translating it into a state you inhabit. The verse does not ask God to do something outside you; it invites you to become the condition in which calling, grace, and power are seamless. When you imagine that you are already worthy, that your calling is fulfilled by the good pleasure of God’s own generosity, you are aligning with the truth that God’s power is the very activity of your own consciousness. The 'work of faith with power' becomes not labor but alignment: as you feel the certainty of your calling and the sufficiency of grace, thoughts and circumstances rearrange to reflect that inner state. You are not praying for a future event; you are assuming the state that makes the event inevitable. The internal state precedes the external appearance; to dwell as the I AM is to let grace and trust do the real work.

Practice This Now

Assume the state of being worthy of your calling now; feel the 'work of faith with power' as your present reality. Let the I AM within you approve of this calling and allow grace to unfold in your daily experience.
