Inner Crown of Justice
2 Samuel 8:15 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read 2 Samuel 8 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
David reigned over all Israel and administered judgment and justice to his people. This shows the outward result of inner order.
Neville's Inner Vision
David’s reign is not an event in time, but a state of consciousness in which the I AM rules all inner Israel. When you accept that you are the ruler of your inner realm, the 'judgment and justice' he enacts become the harmonizing of all your faculties under one law. The king’s authority is the clear awareness that you are one with the Source, and therefore every thought, feeling, memory, and impulse is brought into order. The outer world you call life reflects this inward government: decisions become fair, actions measured, and conflicts settle into alignment. The people are your varied powers—will, imagination, appetite, reason—taken into account and judged with mercy. The moment you assume the state of the king, you revise every sense of limitation, and your mind acts as judge and administrator, removing dependence on old stories and replacing them with inspired order. Hold that assumption; feel the weight and warmth of established justice within; your world will respond by ministering to you from within.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, assume the posture of the inner king, and in present tense say, 'I reign over all my inner Israel in perfect justice.' Visualize your faculties aligning and your life aligning to that inner order.
