Biblical Context
David dedicated the silver and gold he had gathered from the nations he subdued to the LORD. This act links outward wealth with inner devotion.
Neville's Inner Vision
All wealth in the outer world is a sign of the richness already settled in your mind. When David dedicated the silver and gold he had gathered from the nations, he was not merely giving away coins; he was deliberately consecrating his consciousness. In Neville terms, the nations he subdued are inner states—fears, limitations, competing desires—that you have conquered through awareness. The act of returning that treasure to the LORD is an inner decision that your I AM, your true sense of self, is sovereign, that all supply flows from your awakened consciousness. If you accept you are the one who has subdued and gathered, you must also acknowledge you can dedicate what you have captured to a higher purpose. The outward wealth appears as you maintain this inner disposition: when attention, feeling, and imagining reflect abundance, your world echoes the treasury of your mind. This is true worship: directing every bit of your attention and energy toward the I AM, and letting the inner reality lead the outer form.
Practice This Now
Assume you are placing your inner wealth at the altar of the I AM now; feel it real as you would hold the gold of conquered nations being consecrated to God.
