The ‘rod of men’ and the ‘stripes of the children of men’ symbolize stubborn beliefs and outward conditions that echo a former self. As you identify less with that former self and more with the Father’s ruling presence, those outer pressures dissolve into quiet guidance. This is covenant language for the practice of consciousness: you are the I AM, ruling from inner throne, and your life becomes the living evidence of your sonship. You are not condemned; you are invited into a more perfected state of being, where discipline acts as a gentle correction toward truth and wholeness.
