Scripture Focus

19And he dealt among all the people, even among the whole multitude of Israel, as well to the women as men, to every one a cake of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine. So all the people departed every one to his house.
2 Samuel 6:19

Biblical Context

David distributes bread, meat, and wine to the whole multitude, including women, signaling a communal blessing and shared joy.

Neville's Inner Vision

See the scene not as history but as the drama of your own consciousness. When the king of Israel lays out bread, flesh, and wine to every person, imagine that Israel is your entire mental world—every thought and feeling gathered into one multitude. The bread is nourishment for daily awareness, the flesh a sign of vitality, the wine the lift of spirit that carries you home; none is left out, even the women and men of your inner city. This is how your I AM, your present sense of I, blesses every fragment of self, distributing fullness to all inclinations and memories. The act of giving is the act of receiving by your own consciousness. As you practice this inner banquet, you awaken the law that abundance is not scarce but resident in your awareness. The people depart to their houses with gratitude because they have been fed by the awareness that you are whole, here and now.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the feeling of I AM abundance. Imagine distributing nourishment to every part of your mind and heart, and feel the unity that follows.
