David's Inner Dynasty
2 Samuel 5:13-16 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
David took more wives and concubines in Jerusalem after returning from Hebron, and many sons and daughters were born. This signals the outward expansion of his royal lineage.
Neville's Inner Vision
Notice that in Neville's language, this is not a political itinerary but an inner movement of consciousness. The shifting of David from Hebron to Jerusalem represents the journey of the I AM into a fuller, self-governing center. The wives and concubines, and the many children named, are not external people to be judged; they are the many faculties and prosperities you birth within your mind when you stand as the sovereign in your own inner Jerusalem. Each 'son' or 'daughter' is a state of awareness, a quality you welcome as yours by believing it is already real. When you acknowledge your own royal line—the covenant loyalty to the true King within—you invite unity and order to rule your thoughts. The verse thus invites you to cast off the old, fragmentary self (Hebron) and to occupy a unified inner kingdom, where your imagination, will, and perception work in harmony to produce tangible experiences. The outward is simply the visible sign of an inner agreement with your highest self.
Practice This Now
Assume the state 'I am the king of a thriving inner Jerusalem' and feel it real now. Name three inner outcomes you desire as the offspring of this inner kingdom (peace, strength, wisdom) and observe them appearing in your life as if they were yours already.
