Inner Transfer of Thrones

2 Samuel 3:9-11 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 2 Samuel 3 in context

Scripture Focus

9So do God to Abner, and more also, except, as the LORD hath sworn to David, even so I do to him;
10To translate the kingdom from the house of Saul, and to set up the throne of David over Israel and over Judah, from Dan even to Beersheba.
11And he could not answer Abner a word again, because he feared him.
2 Samuel 3:9-11

Biblical Context

In 2 Samuel 3:9-11, God moves to transfer the kingdom from Saul’s house to David; the throne will extend from Dan to Beersheba, and Abner is silenced by fear.

Neville's Inner Vision

Notice that the decree does not debate with Abner about possibility; it announces a completed transfer governed by the LORD written into your inner constitution. The outer scene—Abner's silence and fear—mirrors an inner response: the old self cannot answer a supreme claim because it realizes it has no jurisdiction in a kingdom already sworn to another monarch. The 'kingdom' is not a geography but a state of awareness. To translate the kingdom from the house of Saul to the throne of David is to translate your mind from fear, doubt, and limitation to faith, loyalty, and rightful authority. From Dan to Beersheba, your entire inner territory is claimed by the new ruler. This is the practical application of covenant loyalty: you yield to the I AM's decree within you, and the outer appearances align with your inner decree. The transfer is not hurried by effort but completed by recognizing and agreeing with the already present royal status in consciousness.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, place your hand on your chest, and affirm: I AM the king of my inner realm; from this moment I reign as David over all my thoughts and fears.
