Biblical Context

The passage describes divine presence descending in power, with imagery of smoke, fire, and darkness underfoot signaling awe and the authority of God.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within these verses, the smoke and fire are not external forces but the vivid signs of your inner state awakening. When you dwell in the I AM and imagine fully, you kindle coals of vitality that ignite your conditions into being. The line 'He bowed the heavens and came down' becomes the movement of your consciousness entering expression—your inner God descending into your world as certainty. The darkness under the feet marks the dissolution of old limitations, the void through which a new reality arises. Remember: God in you is not coming from without; the descent is your awareness occupying a state you have chosen until it feels real. The presence becomes law the moment you treat it as if it is now, and your outer scenes must follow. So you are asked to choose a state—wholeness, strength, provision—and persist in the felt sense of that state until it fuses with your day.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and repeat 'I AM' as the truth of your being. Then imagine a rising smoke and a line of fire within you, and let the sense of God's descent settle as inner certainty until it feels real.
