Scripture Focus

17He sent from above, he took me; he drew me out of many waters;
18He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them that hated me: for they were too strong for me.
19They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay.
20He brought me forth also into a large place: he delivered me, because he delighted in me.
2 Samuel 22:17-20

Biblical Context

The verses describe being drawn from danger and placed in a spacious, secure state because the Lord is your stay and delights in you.

Neville's Inner Vision

Assume the I AM is the source of your life. The verse becomes your inner drama: He sent from above, he took me—your consciousness rises, draws you from the waters of fear. The strong enemy dissolves not by force, but by realizing you are one with the power that delivered you. They were too strong for me—not as a confession of weakness, but as a shifting belief. They prevented me in the day of calamity: but the LORD was my stay—your awareness becomes the unshakable support. He brought me forth into a large place—the larger state of being you now inhabit, where limitation falls away. He delivered me because he delighted in me—the I AM's delight in your very being births boldness, ease, and joy. As you dwell in this consciousness, you discover salvation as a present, lived reality, not a distant event.

Practice This Now

Assume the feeling of being drawn out of chaos into a spacious inner realm; revise any fear by affirming 'I am delivered now' and 'the I AM delights in me' until these become your lived experience.
