Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jonathan and Ahimaaz stay unseen to carry a message to David. A girl and a lad help conceal the movement by the well at Bahurim.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within your psyche, the messengers Jonathan and Ahimaaz represent two currents of consciousness carrying a word to the I AM king in you. They move behind the scenes, unseen by the outer scene, until providence allows the news to reach the ruling self. The wench and the lad are voices of concealment and revelation, the feminine and masculine pulses of your mind, guarding or revealing what you seek. The well in Bahurim is your inner source, a living well from which truth can be drawn. The woman covering the well and spreading corn is the deliberate masking of doubt while preparation and nourishment are laid upon the source, so the movement remains undetected by the outward Absalom of fear. Yet the essential fact remains: the plan proceeds, and providence ensures nothing is known to obstruct it. Thus, your inner world quietly coordinates action, and the outer drama is the visible result of a hidden, inward decision.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and imagine you are the king; you already have the message and the plan is quietly in place. Revise any lingering doubt and feel it real that the inner arrangement has been made, so the outer scene may reflect it.
