Field Of Inner Reunion
2 Samuel 14:6-7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read 2 Samuel 14 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Two sons quarrel; one kills the other. The whole family then rises against the mother to hand over the killer so they may destroy the heir, seeking to extinguish her life and erase her name.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within your mind sits a field where two impulses clash and one belief defeats another. The two sons symbolize rival thoughts and desires; the killing represents a belief that destroys another. The united family is the inner chorus of judgment and habit that seeks to punish and to cling to the past, threatening to erase your future by eliminating the heir. The coal is your vital life-fire, your future expression; to quench it is to surrender the sense of continued life. You, however, are the I AM, the unifying awareness that can restore harmony. Do not identify with conflict or punishment; instead invite integration of the opposing impulses as aspects of one life. Repeat a new state of consciousness where unity prevails, the inner lineage continues, and the fire remains lit. When you hold to this inner harmony, the outer world reflects it, your future unfolds from the same I AM, and your name and life endure in awareness.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes, breathe, and visualize the two inner impulses stepping into your chest and walking together under the light of I AM. Declare you are the reconciler here and now, and feel the life-fire steady within as your future lineage becomes immediately present in your awareness.
