Neville's Inner Vision

Let us see that the Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations as a present fact of your consciousness, not as a distant rescue. Temptations are movements of imagination within you, not external traps. The godly are those who recognize themselves as the I AM, the living awareness that can reoccupy a contracted state and rewrite it with new content. The unjust are the unintegrated beliefs in your mind—parts of you that have forgotten their divine origin—and they are reserved until the day you awaken to the truth that you are the I AM and that judgment is the verdict you give to your own state. When you persist in the assumption that you are already delivered, you inoculate your mind against the power these thoughts pretend to hold. The day of judgment is no future hour but the moment you cease identifying with fear and choose the inner friend. Your inner state then becomes the cause, and the outer scene follows in harmony with that newly accepted reality.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume you are delivered from the temptation now. Feel that state as your immediate reality.
