Inner Corruption Exposed
2 Peter 2:12-13 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Peter describes people who act like brutish beasts, speaking evil of things they don't understand, and they will perish by their own corruption. They are blemishes who indulge in deception while they feast with others.
Neville's Inner Vision
Notice the inner script: these 'brute beasts' are not others out there; they are the unmastered states of your own consciousness. The words 'speaking evil of the things that they understand not' mean your mind arguing against what you actually know in this present awareness. When you identify with these lower motions—doubt, vanity, self-indulgence—you invite the 'reward of unrighteousness,' a natural consequence of living as if your awareness is divided. In Neville’s terms, the entire scene is a belief you have accepted as real, a dream of separation from your I AM. The remedy is not to condemn others but to revise the image you hold of yourself. Assume the higher state now: you are the unchanging, pure consciousness that sees through every counterfeit of pleasure; feel the truth of your unity, and let the corruption dissolve as you affirm: I AM that I AM, and I dwell in purity, truth, and integrity.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: In a quiet moment, assume the I AM as your essential self and revise a recent urge as if it never happened. Then feel it real that you stand pure and untouched by the brute impulse.
