Naboth's Plot: Inner Reckoning

2 Kings 9:26 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 2 Kings 9 in context

Scripture Focus

26Surely I have seen yesterday the blood of Naboth, and the blood of his sons, saith the LORD; and I will requite thee in this plat, saith the LORD. Now therefore take and cast him into the plat of ground, according to the word of the LORD.
2 Kings 9:26

Biblical Context

God declares awareness of Naboth's murder and promises recompense on the land. It anchors divine accountability in the physical realm.

Neville's Inner Vision

Beloved, the text tells of a visible judgment, yet the truth I teach you is that all judgment begins in consciousness. When the LORD says, I have seen yesterday's blood, He is speaking to your own yesterday-state of awareness. Naboth's blood is the symbol of a belief you once tolerated—anger, envy, possessiveness—inked into the ground of your mind. The 'plot of ground' is the field you stand on in this moment, the habitual thought-forms that have nourished your yesterday. The recompense spoken forth is the natural consequence of the state you inhabit; when you awaken to your I AM, you no longer feed that old soil with fear or blame. Instead you choose a higher state, and the land yields accordingly. Your responsibility is to revise, to assume the end of justice now, to feel the reality of a righteous life already present.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, breathe, and in imagination declare: I AM the justice of my life; I revise the old belief and feel its realness here and now, allowing the land of my mind to yield a higher, harmonious state.
