Inner Watchman, Jehu Momentum

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
A watchman on the tower sees Jehu approaching; the king’s messengers ask if there is peace, but Jehu rejects peace and presses forward with fierce resolve.
Neville's Inner Vision
From the vantage of consciousness, the watchman is the boundary stone of your present state. The company approaching is a procession of your emergent I AM, eager to replace the old occupancy of the mind. The king's question, Is it peace?, is the voice of the past asking whether the new arrangement can coexist with the familiar fears. Jehu's answer, What hast thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me, is the I AM speaking through you: let the old peace-myth go; align with the impression of a new rule already established in your inward kingdom. The driving is like the driving of Jehu the son of Nimshi; for he driveth furiously. It is not violence, but conviction—an inner decree that the old order yields to the new state of consciousness you choose in imagination. The watchman reports the messenger comes and goes, never returning, which is your inner sign that the transaction is complete: the new king has entered, and the old king is no longer sovereign within you. Your task is to dwell in the assumption that you are that Jehu, the I AM in action, and to let your sense of self be carried forward by that momentum.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and image yourself as Jehu, the I AM on a swift horse, driving forward and letting the old peace-talk fall behind you. Silently affirm I AM the Reality; this new state is here now.
