Inner Earth Altar of Worship
2 Kings 5:16-18 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Naaman refuses gifts, vows exclusive worship of the LORD, asks for earth to establish a base, and seeks pardon for bowing to Rimmon in his master's house.
Neville's Inner Vision
Naaman's outward refusals express a turning of the whole self toward the One Mind. The declaration 'As the LORD liveth, before whom I stand' anchors his identity in the I AM, the living awareness that creates. The request for 'two mules' burden of earth' becomes a symbol of a fixed ground within the mind on which a true altar can rise. The commitment to worship the LORD alone signals the shift from outward tokens to inner allegiance; even the bowing in Rimmon's house is pardoned because the inner loyalty is now aligned with truth. In Neville terms, the technique is visible: decide the state of consciousness you will inhabit, provide the conditions for it (a grounded, earthy altar of awareness), and feel it as already real. The outer events—master, temple, or ritual—mirror the turning point in consciousness, confirming that the I AM alone governs worship and experience.
Practice This Now
Assume the truth that you stand before the LORD within you. Build an inner altar by imagining earth beneath your feet and declare, 'I worship the LORD alone,' feeling the pardon as this new allegiance settles in.
